Bladder Prolapse Surgery

With this disorder, symptoms are difficult to sense at first so it is necessary to consider bladder prolapse surgery especially if treatments are not the answer. If this condition is left untreated then it can worsen and overtime may cause urinary retention which can disrupt normal kidney function. Prolapsed bladder surgery is performed through the vagina with intentions of aligning the bladder into its normal position. An incision is made in the vaginal wall with a means to strengthen the prolapsed area. Risks involved include infection, bladder injury, urinary retention, bleeding, and painful intercourse.
